Job Description
We're seeking a talented
Site Manager/ Safety Officer
to join our team inErmelo
!Responsibilities:
Drive a safety culture within the site and ensuring that all site specific safety requirements are met. Ensure that all safety documents are in place before carrying out any task. Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities. Manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources efficiently. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective measures. Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality control and safety standards. Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers regarding site progress and issues. Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, site diaries, and progress documentation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Support procurement and materials management for site requirements.
Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate National Diploma/Degree in Safety Management or equivalent Advanced First Aid and Firefighting certification Strong knowledge of project management, health, safety, and quality standards Proficiency in MS Office, project reporting tools
