Job Summary Duration Contract Our client, a well-established Construction Company is looking to appoint an experienced Site Clerk. The successful applicant will fulfil all the necessary requirements with regards to the Companys administrative duties at designated Projects that are being undertaken by the Company. Duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Process various administrative requirements and controls for site activities. Create a forward plan of orders and ensure that requisitions are timeously processed. Ensure adequate PPE is sourced and in place. Manage Attendance Registers to ensure payments/wages are correctly calculated. Conduct Toolbox Talks. Ensure that all site-specific requirements for Health, Safety and Environment are in place. Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environment Files are in place and available for inspection. Liaise with Staff in terms of their own Health and Safety and ensure that any requirements are timeously addressed. Maintain proper and accurate document controls. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Senior Certificate. National Certificate/Diploma in Office Administration. Proven experience as a Site Clerk of 2 to 5 years. Previous experience within the construction environment. The ability to execute repetitive activities daily. Preferred Competencies: Sound knowledge of Micro Soft 365. Excellent planning, organising, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong time management, interpersonal and organizational skills. Good decision making and problem-solving skills. Great attention to detail. A motivated self-starter who takes a proactive and solution driven approach.
