Site Agent - Civil Engineering - WellingtonIntroductionOur client, a leading Civil Construction company based in Wellington, the Western Cape is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee civil engineering projects the company needs to execute.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlanning - plan, organize and maintain site campPeople Management xe2x80x93 identify labour requirementsPlant Management xe2x80x93 determine best method of operation to suite the local conditionsMaterial Management xe2x80x93 order materials timeously according to programCost Management xe2x80x93 evaluate cash flow from contractual programContractual Management xe2x80x93 comply with contractual obligationsPublic Relations - ensure healthy relationships with engineers, client and suppliersDesired Experience & QualificationAn applicable B Degree or National Diploma in Civil EngineeringMinimum of 3 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant site management experienceExperience in HDPE, GRP and Ductile Iron pipelines will be beneficialKnowledge of GCC (general contract conditions) and SABS 1200 is requiredMust have natural leadership skills and management abilityAttention to detail is important and to be able to work under pressurePackage & RemunerationAbove average market related salary
