Job Description

This position is responsible for the technical management, supervision, and control of all production processes, with the aim of achieving the agreed business objectives.

The criteria and requirements are as follows:

• 3 - 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience at a middle management level.
• Experience in Paltrack.
• Citrus knowledge is preferred.
• Must be innovative and detail oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships at various levels.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret research data for reports and apply mathematic techniques.
• Ability to provide effective supervision and staff management.
• Ability to manage projects effectively and meet firm deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Overview of key activities:

• Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures: Design, develop and implement relevant business policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that the work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner throughout the organization.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement within production and cross functional departments.
• Fruit receiving: Responsible for high level planning and coordination of all fruit from own farms and third-party growers. Responsible for the planning and coordination of Venco bins/tippers regarding all processing fruit.
• Production: Responsible for the implementation of the production plan. Responsible for the management of the post-harvest application treatment of the entire production line.
• Quality: Responsible for the entire production quality control process and management of the process and information. Responsible to provide regular feedback and reports. Manage relationship with PPECB/DAFF.
• Logistics: Responsible for the management of all semi-finished and finished goods past the final inspection point. Liaise between packhouse and logistics regarding any issues.
• Reports: Prepare reports timeously and accurately to meet company and department requirement and standards.
• Other: Manage and ensure that the pack house follow all protocols.
