Job Description
Hire Resolve's client is a great mining company in Northern Cape, which is seeking the expertise of a SHERQ Officer to join their team in Kuruman.
Responsibilities:
- To prevent through legal compliance checks, audits and monitoring, the reduction of accidents, dangerous occurrences and non conformance in respect of safety, health, environmental, risk and quality standards
- To assist the Chief Safety and Risk Officer with the updating, implementing and maintaining of SHERQ systems and procedures to ensure legal compliance in all areas of the operation,
- Over inspections
- Investigations
- Risk assessment and control
- Planning, organizing and administration (MOS)
- Analysis and reporting (MOS)
- Grade 12
- COMSOC or SAMTRAC (1 & 2)
- National Diploma in Safety /Risk Management
- 8 - 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a plant mining environment
- Salary: R500K/yr - R700K/yr, salary negotiable
- Training & Development
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)
