Leading a Team of Service Assurance technicians to enforce quality controls , in line caterpillar repair standards

Achievement quality turnaround targets.

Resolve internal customer queries.

Effective control of cost centre expenses and WIP Ensure effective communication between team and management.

Ensure service work (Caterpillar components) is carried out in compliance with quality standards (OEM Guidelines).

Apply warranty policies and procedures; this includes warranty decisions and service warranty investigations.

Ensure outputs of service audits are achieved.

Trade Test qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic/ Earthmoving

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

Minimum of 6 years' experience as Caterpillar Genera Mechanic post apprenticeship or learner ship experience.

Minimum off 4 years Caterpillar Component rebuild experience with substantial troubleshooting exposure (post Qualification)

Well familiar with failure analysis and re-useability guidelines on components

Experienced trouble shooting and problem-solving skills on Earthmoving Equipment Components.

Well imbedded Component specific technical knowledge and skills.

Familiar with Dyno and Hydraulic testbench operation and troubleshooting.

Sound interpersonal and communication skills.

Good technical report writing skills.

Basic business and financial understanding.

Computer literate and good business writing knowledge.

Good and experiences on Caterpillar machine and product knowledge.
