Overall Responsibilities:

  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of orders prior to invoicing review
  • Ensure accuracy of all orders, products and services billed as per commercial agreement prior to invoicing
  • Ensure network, billing and configuration integrity across network platforms and systems
  • Apply knowledge of client agreements and ensure compliance with the companyxe2x80x99s revenue recognition guidelines
  • Apply knowledge of internal controls over the revenue accounting process to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition guidelines with astute knowledge of service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Allocate and track client requests to resolve within required SLA
  • Work with operations and revenue team to develop policies and procedures that streamline the order to cash processes
  • Manage internal control documentation and review processes surrounding revenue assurance
  • Research of revenue accounting issues
  • Responsible for analysis of data to calculate and analyse profitability for company supplied products and services
  • Ensure all requests are attended to and client is billed correctly for relative enquiries
  • Allocation and tracking of client requests
  • Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with various cross functional teams across the company
  • Participate in cross functional project initiatives
  • Assist in preparation of revenue assurance reports to support internal and external reporting requirements
  • Assist the process with external auditors to support proper revenue recognition
  • Manage and develop stock control process, vendor liaison and procurement
  • Address and resolve operational issues and/or risks
  • Support ticket triage and allocation to support engineers, ensuring all tickets are assigned, updated and resolved timeously
  • Provide escalation path to resolve urgent tickets
  • Onboard new and/or prospective clients and vendors on PSA
  • Assist sales team with administration and quotations
Management Responsibilities:
  • Selecting and training new employees within designated department
  • Allocating roles to revenue assurance team members
  • Manage service relations team daily activities to ensure compliance of revenue orders
  • Setting and implementing strategy for identifying and recovering revenues leakage
  • Assigning and managing workload among team members to ensure optimal recovery
  • Managing client relations by providing requested information and meeting clientsxe2x80x99 targets
  • Facilitate huddle with service relations team and support technicians regarding relevant tickets and projects
  • Assign and manage workload to ensure optimal recovery rates
  • Manage and monitor progress and reporting results
  • Provide feedback to management on a weekly basis

  • Proven track record of establishing relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy

Qualifications and Experience Levels:
Essential:
  • Matric qualification
  • Track record of working a busy demanding business environment
  • Experience of dealing with customers
  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience
Desirable:
  • Experience of working within the Telecommunications / Managed IT services industry
  • Tertiary qualification in Business Management and/or Hospitality related
  • Ideally 1 xe2x80x93 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting function and/or similar functionality
