Job Description


A well established organization based in Durbanville, Cape Town, is looking to employ an experienced Service Controller to join the organization.

Suitable candidates will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Matric Qualification.
  • x2 years proven experience within an administrative role.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to log calls and interact with clients, technicians, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in using call logging software and accurately categorizing calls for service and installations.
  • Ability to source, order and track parts and consumables, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Regularly providing feedback to management and compiling reports on service department activities.
  • Timely communication with clients, keeping them informed about the status of their logged calls.
  • Ensuring technicians submit job cards, accurately completing them, and updating the system accordingly.
  • Booking couriers, performing stock takes, and maintaining accurate stock records.
  • Monthly monitoring and recording of meter readings for relevant equipment.
  • Regular reporting to the Service Manager, collaborating with team members to improve department efficiency.
