Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years previous experience in service environment and relevant education or training.
Familiarity with the Volvo, Chery and Foton vehicle brands will be beneficial.
Knowledge of BSI Auto is a must.
Responsibilities
Scheduling of service appointments.
Advise customers about necessary service requirements for routine maintenance.
Obtaining customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
Greeting of customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtaining of vehicle information.
Assist with identifying a mechanical problem by questioning the customer or doing a visual inspection on the vehicle.
Checking on progress of repairs throughout the day.
Contacting of customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time as well as explaining of costs and time requirements in detail and obtaining proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
Converse with customers about inspection results and recommending corrective procedures.
Preparation of work orders for needed repairs showing time, cost and labour estimates for service.
Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labour and parts.
Establishes customer's method of payment. Obtains credit approval, if necessary.
Handling of customer complaints.
Implements and maintains a service marketing program.
Reviewing of repair orders to ensure that work is completed, additional work and authorization noted and of repair orders when work is completed.
Ensures that vehicles are parked in assigned areas. Makes sure they are locked, and all keys are marked and put away correctly.
Keeps service department forms, menus and pricing guides up to date.
Implements a quality control process to eliminate comebacks.
