Job Description

Job Summary What you'll be doing

  • Design and deliver training programs across front office, housekeeping, and guest services
  • Coach and mentor supervisors and managers in preparation for succession into key roles
  • Identify and develop high-potential staff for leadership pipelines
  • Conduct skills gap analyses and align training with operational and brand standards
  • Standardize training materials, SOPs, and competency assessments across properties
  • Partner with HR and Operations to support performance management and career development initiatives
What you'll need
  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • 5 - 8 years' hotel management experience, preferably as Rooms Division or Operations Manager
  • Proven experience in staff training, mentoring, and performance development
  • Knowledge of housekeeping standards, front office systems, and guest experience management
  • ETDP/SETQAA or facilitator/assessor certification is advantageous
  • Valid driver's license and access to a car (travel to multiple sites required)
  • Clear criminal record
  • Grade 12 certificate and further education diploma

  • Strong leadership and coaching ability
  • Deep understanding of hotel operations and service standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; presentable and able to engage effectively with staff at all levels
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple properties or training sites
  • Results-driven with excellent administrative and reporting skills
  • Passionate about people development and long-term talent growth
