Job Description
Are you a skilled Research and Development Design Specialist with a passion for innovation and a desire to work on cutting-edge projects? Our client is seeking an experienced individual with a BSc Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing ones
- Utilize 2D and 3D CAD drawing and modelling software to design products and create technical documentation
- Manage projects from ideation to launch, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Conduct research to identify new technologies, materials, and processes to enhance product performance
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including suppliers and customers
- Adhere to regulatory and industry standards and guidelines
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD drawing and modelling software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- 5 years of product development and project management experience
- Understanding of sheet metal design principles, plastics, and electrical components
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
