A luxurious working farm is looking for a dynamic Senior Spa Therapist that has a passion for the spa industry.

Starting Date: 1 October 2023
with Key Performance Areas:
Duties:

• Provide excellent beauty therapy and massage treatments to clients, including but not limited to facials, body treatments, manicures, pedicures.
• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs, concerns, and medical history, ensuring treatments are safe and suitable.
• Customizing and tailoring treatments based on individual client preferences and requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring all equipment and products are well-stocked and hygienic.
• Promote and upsell additional services, packages, or retail products to enhance the client's experience and drive business growth.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, products, and techniques to continuously improve service offerings.
• Educate clients about skincare and massage techniques and recommend home care routines for long-lasting benefits.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for both clients and staff.
• Collaborate with the front desk and management team to ensure smooth scheduling and seamless customer service.
• Uphold the highest level of professionalism, courtesy, and confidentiality when dealing with clients and their information.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a qualified Beauty Therapist and Massage Therapist, with a minimum 3 years in a reputable spa or wellness centre.
• Recognized certification or diploma in Beauty Therapy and Massage Therapy from an accredited institution. ITEC or Cidesco.
• Proficient knowledge of various massage techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, etc.) and beauty treatments (facials, manicures, pedicures, etc.).
• Strong understanding of skin types, conditions, and appropriate skincare product recommendations.
• Exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every client.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain treatments and provide advice clearly and professionally.
• Strong sales and upselling abilities to promote additional services and products effectively.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, maintaining a high level of personal grooming and hygiene.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
• Must have Afrikaans as first or second language.

Working hours:
Shift Work.
08:00 17:00 or 10:00-19:00
1 weekend off per month, total of 8days off
