Job Description

Engage with Supply Authorities in understanding their technical requirements for grid connection of renewable generators.
Engage with field specialists for the provision of technical assessments (Grid studies, Power Quality Assessments etc)
Develop technical specifications.
Ad hoc technical and commercial project analyses.
Liaise with construction management and operations departments.
Undertake project drawing assessments as well as provide feedback on project designs against national standards and distributor requirements.
Assist on technical aspects of Distributor Applications and meeting with distributors on particularly onerous grid connection applications.
Assist with business research and development.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2-5 years experience of solar PV project engineering experience as a PV design engineer.
Good understanding of financial drivers and metrics of renewable energy systems.
Good grasp of technical solar PV design considerations, interconnection detail, protection and control schemes, earthing arrangements, etc.
Valid drivers license
Solar PV Rooftop, Carport, and Ground Mount project experience

Qualification:
BSc/BEng in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
