Job Description

As a Senior Solar Electrical Engineer at our client, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and execution of solar energy projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solar solutions and ensure the successful implementation of renewable energy systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the growth of our solar division.
Key Responsibilities:

-Solar System Design: Lead the design and optimization of solar PV systems, including site layout, electrical schematics, and interconnection design.
Technical Analysis: Conduct technical feasibility studies and performance assessments of solar projects, considering factors such as shading analysis, energy yield estimation, and equipment selection. * Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in solar project design and implementation.

• Project Management: Manage and oversee solar projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and efficiency of solar systems.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution and provide innovative solutions to optimize system performance.
• Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with equipment suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Registration
• Proven experience in solar PV system design and implementation, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior or lead role.
• In-depth knowledge of solar energy technologies, including inverters, PV modules, and balance of system components.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software tools for solar system design and simulation.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations related to solar installations.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead teams effectively.
