As a Senior Software Sales Person, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

You will be responsible for selling software solutions to educational institutions, non- profit organisations and schools.

Identify opportunities, and creating strategies to meet sales targets. Your expertise in software sales, strong communication skills, and ability to build rapport with key stakeholders will be instrumental in your success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets and increase market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events and client on premises meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, IT directors, and business owners.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, and effectively articulate how our software solutions can address their challenges and add value to their operations.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our software solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, including presentations, case studies, and sales proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential sales opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software sales, preferably selling Adobe software or enterprise-level software solutions.
  • Ed-Tech exposure a huge advantage
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Deep understanding of the software industry, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
