Senior Client Account Manager (Mining or Energy) Hybrid Energy & Renewables ~ Mining & Minerals
Johannesburg - Gauteng

This role requires an experienced Account Manager who can act as a trusted client advisor to our clients by bringing them data-driven insights, new ideas, industry expertise and end-to-end solutions from across our ecosystem.

Preferred Industry experience would be within Mining or Energy



Provide day to day management of client relationships and strategic direction on all aspects of the account, articulating Human Brand Experience strategies and briefs to the client and multi disciplinary teams. Understand clients business landscape and identify human brand experience gaps for new business opportunities. Drive shared experience building with the client while balancing the commercial imperatives to ensure work is profitable and of the highest standard.

Responsibilities

Grow the business:

Contribute to expanding Client's footprint and share of wallet in client/industry; accountable for portion of business results on the account (at a minimum). Use Client's Leadership Essentials to guide all client interactions.

Proactively identify and connect with client peers to identify and develop relationships with the next generation of client leaders.

Through subject matter expertise, proactively grow relationships with client management primarily through client expectations management during delivery.

Develop strong communication skills to guide client challenges with relevance and credibility.

Gain confidence to deliver and receive difficult, honest and actionable feedback.

Maintain & grow relationships across Client Services & Networks to identify aspiring CALs amongst their peers.

Develop knowledge of ecosystem partners to collaborate and bring new, innovative ideas to our clients.

Able to articulate vision and purpose for client team in your given space to attract and develop diverse talent.

Bring disruptive and innovative ideas in order to originate new opportunities (while also pursuing business-as-usual opportunities).

Leverage industry networks and partner with experienced CALs to understand the overall growth of the industry at Client and build industry mastery

Fostering a entrepreneurial mindset by actively articulating ideas with your leadership and client teams to solve challenges with creativity and positivity.

Develop the ability delegate efficiently and adapt to ongoing feedback.
