Job Description
We are looking for a Senior QC Chemist to lead and support our QC
Laboratory team, ensuring timely, accurate testing of raw materials,
intermediates, and finished products while maintaining strict GMP
and GLP compliance.
What you will do:
Manage and mentor QC Chemists, ensuring productivity, compliance, and high-quality results. Plan, prioritise, and oversee daily lab workflow to meet turnaround time targets. Review testing results, conclude investigations, and ensure accurate GLP documentation. Support budget management, reagent control, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with all GLP/GMP standards. Assist in SOP development and updates and prepare for audits (including SAHPRA).

What we are looking for:
National Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent (BSc/BTech advantageous). Minimum 3 years' experience in a laboratory testing environment Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and lab safety standards. * Experience with MES systems & Syspro.
