Job Description

A key player in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a highly structured Project Planning leader to manage their ambitious growth trajectory and project goals. They are seeking an exceptional Planning skill to serve as the critical coordinating link between the project execution teams and the Executive/Management Committees. This role is perfectly suited for a natural planner and facilitator who excels at bringing structure, alignment, and clarity to complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute the overall project schedule and planning framework across the entire strategic portfolio.
• Plan and facilitate cross-functional planning sessions with senior leaders and project contributors to ensure clear alignment and synchronised execution across all project streams.
• Proactively identify dependencies, risks, and potential roadblocks, anticipating issues and proposing effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
• Take ownership of the project reporting function, tracking milestones and KPIs, and providing clear, concise progress reports to the Executive and Management Committees.
• Transform the planning function into a strategic engine of innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years experience in project planning, coordination, or program management roles.
• Demonstrated success in working directly with senior leadership teams on strategic, high-value projects.
• Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities and bring structure to complex organisational activities.
• Competence with project planning software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar.
• An enthusiastic, proactive self-starter with excellent facilitation and communication skills, and an ability to influence without direct authority.
