SENIOR PATTERN MAKER (Apparel Manufacturing) - PinetownOur client seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and highly experienced Pattern Maker.Responsibilities include completion of the master production pattern for various size ranges and design silhouettes, creating basic blocks for all fabric types in various silhouettes, creating patterns from design sketch on a computer, ensuring that each pattern is developed within the set standards of size, construction methods and pattern making quality standards, assessing garments once made up from a pattern for quality of workmanship & fit, advising production units of alternative construction methods and pattern engineering to obtain a better fit, working with internal teams to develop or send block patterns to suppliers to base new styling and fit, build and maintain a library of patterns in computer from suppliers to ensure their pattern is according to fabric reaction and is correct at PPS stage.
