Senior Manager: Vendor and Commercial / SAM
within our IT department, on a permanent basisPosition Type

National ( can report to any of our 12 national campuses)Purpose of the role
Own vendor strategy, contracts, licensing and commercial optimisation
Minimum Requirements
Honors Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field SAM/ITAM and contract/procurement certifications FinOps training or certification and have applied it in practice 7 years experience managing IT vendors, contracts and licensing at an enterprise level
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Maintain vendor relationships, contract renewals and SLAs.
Ensure license compliance; prepare for audits and optimise spend.
Run vendor risk/performance reviews and commercial negotiations.
Publish vendor/SAM dashboards and insights for leadership.
Key Skills
SAM tooling, contract management, vendor risk, negotiation, cost optimisation, audit prep.
Primary Tools
Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 CE/F&O, Azure, Power Platform, Fabric/Power BI, GitHub/Azure DevOps, Monday.com, Teams/SharePoint, Purview (role-dependent)
