MTN seeks to position itself as a Pan African partner of choice to the regulators, public and private sectors as well as multilateral and development financing institutions through MTN services, value creation and differentiators by utilising innovative strategic interventions and platforms. This requires vigorous partnerships and resource mobilisation amidst some geopolitical and local uncertainties across all markets in which MTN operates. The Group's Sustainability & Corporate Affairs function under which this role falls must therefore ensure the successful delivery in the context of:
An ever changing global balance of interests and the public policy environment. Complex and rapid evolution of technology and regulation. Macro-social and political climate intricacies of our operating environment The geographic complexity of MTN's footprint across Africa and the Middle East Need to balance the needs of various stakeholder groups against each other Interdependencies between public and private sector Dynamic and fast changing organisational requirements * Growing pressure from stakeholders for sustainable and inclusive development.
