JOB DESCRIPTION:
This academic leadership lecturing position in a faculty, contributes to faculty academic department learning & research objectives, through: The provision of input into curriculum designs & development, inclusive of implementation Participating in faculty committee structures Lecturing, teaching & promoting students (both undergraduate & postgraduates) for selected modules in curricula/programs Facilitating & assuming responsibility for academic administration processes & student data within the academic scope Establishing collaborative networks, research initiatives both locally & regionally Contributing to the mentoring of academic staff Participating in community engagement initiatives in alignment with social responsibility & scholarly engagement goals Publishing research within institutional criteria & requirements Supervising postgraduate research within the academic rank of senior lecturer (Masters/Doctoral research)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A relevant Master's Degree
Registration with a professional accounting body.
Three (3) years experience in higher education or Qualification/courses in higher education teaching and learning
Postgraduate and Undergraduate teaching experience in accounting areas of specializations which include Taxation, Auditing, Management Accounting, and Financial Management
Previously taught at a SAICA-endorsed programme, delivering courses aligned with professional accounting standards and competencies.
Research publications or successful supervision or successful research grant funding
