Calling all IT Auditors with a keen interest and experience in Financial Services (Credit Lending), Application Controls and General Controls! This one is for you!

An established financial services company is looking for an experienced IT Auditor, with a passion for African travel, to join their ever-evolving Internal Audit Department, with operations that spread through other African countries.

Reporting to the Head of IT Audit, the prosperous candidate will be required to assist in identifying and assessing specific and ad hoc/unique strategic, operational, reporting, internal control and/or compliance risks, directly aligned to business strategy, digital transformation, IT infrastructure and architecture. In addition, this individual will be required to execute Technical Reviews Audits, General controls, Application controls, Security reviews, Project implementation reviews and other IT related audits.

Duties:

• Draft and deliver annual audit reports
• Deliver on operational and strategic goals
• Identify risks and controls
• Improve institutions operations
• Implement the IT audit strategy and project plan
• Basic data analytics
• Technical Reviews Audits (SQL, Oracle etc), Project Implementation, and Security Reviews
• Review and mitigate potential risks
• Penetration testing & IT Risk Assessments
• Identification of process, information and control gaps
• Stakeholder/EXCO engagement

Qualifications:

• Degree in IS/IT, Informatics, Audit, BusSci or CompSci
• CISA/CISM/CRISC xe2x80x93 NB!
• COBIT/ITIL/CGEIT

Experience:

• 4 years IT Audit experience
• Understanding COBIT governance, King IV & ISO 27001/17799
• SQL/IDEA/Linux/CAATS
• This role requires occasional out of country travel
