Job Description
Westfalia Fruit Products situated in Eton Road, Parktown, Johannesburg, Gauteng, has a 3-monthvacancy for a suitably qualified and experiencedSenior Financial Accountant.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the incumbent is responsible for Supporting the Finance manager for Shared services to ensure financial compliance, and leading financial processes, financial accounting & and managing group reporting and deadlines for the Merensky Group.
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Newly Qualified CA(SA) advantageous
- BCOM Accounting Honours - Articles will be an advantage
- 1-3 relevant experience
- Knowledge of working in agricultural, manufacturing and export environments
- would be advantageous
- Sound business acumen
- Accounting software Accpac/Pastel/Pal broker D365, Finn Ivo will be advantageous
- Advanced levels of computer literacy in complete MS Office suite
- Person of integrity, passion for work, excellence, and success
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work under constant pressure
- Self-starter and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Analytical problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail
