The Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Manager to lead finance for a large manufacturing site. This person will make sure the site is financially healthy, compliant, and efficient. They'll partner with operations and leadership, manage budgets, control costs, and guide a small finance team.

What You'll Do

Oversee daily financial operations (cash flow, stock, debtors, creditors, payroll). Drive cost savings and ensure efficient use of resources. Lead budgeting and monthly forecasting. Produce management reports and explain financial results. Ensure compliance with audits, tax, and financial regulations. Support site leaders with financial insights for decision-making. Lead and develop the site's finance team.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management, Accounting, or a related (NQF 7). 10+ years' finance experience, including leadership roles in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of stock management, costing, and financial modelling. Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience. Proven ability to lead teams and partner with operational managers. Professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA or similar). Experience with system rollouts/migrations. Exposure to BEE reporting.

Working Conditions

Based full-time on site in Ormonde. Some overtime around reporting deadlines. Fast-paced manufacturing setting with strict deadlines.
