Job Summary Senior Field Guide - Luxury Lodge
Join our world-class team at a prestigious luxury lodge as a Senior Field Guide, where you'll lead unforgettable safari experiences for our guests. This is an opportunity to showcase your passion for the wild, share your extensive knowledge of the bush, and create exceptional memories for our discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead game drives and guided bush walks, delivering safe, informative, and engaging experiences.
- Share expert knowledge of wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation with guests.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and environmental practices.
- Host and interact with guests, creating an exceptional and personalised safari experience.
- Assist with training and mentoring junior guides.
- Contribute to the lodge's conservation and guest engagement initiatives.
- FGASA Level 2 or higher (or equivalent), with all relevant qualifications and valid PDP.
- Proven experience as a Field Guide in a luxury lodge or 5-star safari environment.
- Excellent communication and hosting skills, with a guest-first mindset.
- Passionate about conservation and creating meaningful wildlife encounters.
- Ability to work flexible hours and in a remote, team-focused environment.
