Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the process engineering team in the development and implementation of efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct time studies and process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Oversee project management activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend solutions to enhance operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive.
  • Strong expertise in process improvement techniques and time studies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Added Advantage Experience:
To further enhance your candidacy for the Process Engineering Manager position, the following experiences and skills would be considered significant assets: * Experience in Automotive Industry:
  • Previous roles within automotive manufacturing or similar sectors, particularly in press and welded part production.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Certification:
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies, demonstrating a strong understanding of process optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of CAD Software:
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to assist in product design and process layout optimization.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems:
  • Experience with ISO standards (e.g., IATF 16949) and quality control processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Advanced Project Management Skills:

  • Proven track record of leading diverse teams and collaborating effectively with departments such as production, quality assurance, and supply chain.
  • Data Analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC):

  • Change Management Experience:
  • Familiarity with change management processes to effectively implement new technologies or methodologies.
  • Supplier and Customer Interaction:
  • Experience in liaising with suppliers and customers to improve processes and resolve issues, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
