Mid/Senior Laravel Developer

We are looking for a Mid to Senior level Laravel Developer. JS Front-end skills (Vue, React, AJAX, etc.) is a requirement and a knowledge of integration to, and development of, APIs is a requirement.

This is not a junior role and candidates should have no less than 3 years of experience, specifically Laravel specific PHP development would be advantageous. Other frameworks are welcome - we are looking for good, motivated members to join our nerdy team.

Responsibilities

PHP / Laravel Development

Building APIs and services

MySQL work

HTML & CSS development

JS library implementation

Working with the graphic and web design & development team

Planning, time management and coordinating efficiently

Requirements

Minimum 3 years full-time Laravel / PHP experience

HTML and CSS experience is essential

Significant work experience in PHP development

XML/JSON

Strong JavaScript skills

MySQL and knowledge of database systems

Experience in integration of payment gateways

Experience with Photoshop and/or Illustrator

Git or equivalent version control

Matric and relevant tertiary/post graduation growth / qualification

The ability to work independently

Have respect for deadlines

Accuracy, attention to detail - beautiful code

Friendly and energetic (be lekker)

Writing good, clean code - did we mention beautiful code?

Passionate about development - seriously.. if you've found yourself in Dev by mistake or a "last resort" - working here probably isn't for you.

Good time management skills
