VML is seeking a highly skilled and innovative

Senior Digital Designer

to join our growing creative team. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional digital experiences that drive engagement and business results for our diverse client portfolio. The Senior Digital Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing high-quality digital assets and experiences across various platforms, with a strong emphasis on shopper experience, 3D design integration, and proficiency in Figma. You will play a key role in bringing brand strategies to life through compelling visual design and intuitive user flows.

What You Will Do:




Digital Design & Execution:

Lead the design and production of a wide range of digital assets including websites, landing pages, mobile apps, social media content, display ads, email campaigns, and interactive experiences, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to best practices.

Shopper Experience Expertise:

Design and optimize digital experiences specifically tailored for the shopper journey, including e-commerce platforms, retail media, in-store digital activations, and promotional campaigns, aimed at driving conversion and enhancing brand perception at the point of sale.

Conceptual Design Leadership:

Develop strong, innovative conceptual designs from initial brief through to final execution, translating strategic insights into powerful visual narratives and user-centric solutions.

3D Design Integration:

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to incorporate 3D elements into digital experiences, including but not limited to product visualization, immersive environments, and interactive content. Familiarity with 3D software workflows and integration into digital platforms is essential.

Figma Proficiency:

Serve as a power user and advocate for Figma, leveraging its full capabilities for UI/UX design, prototyping, design systems creation, and collaborative workflows. Mentor junior designers in best practices for Figma usage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with strategists, copywriters, developers, project managers, and other designers to ensure seamless execution and delivery of projects.

User-Centered Design:

Apply strong UI/UX principles to create intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital products and experiences, conducting user research or usability testing as needed.

Trend Awareness:

Stay up to date with the latest digital design trends, tools, technologies, and best practices, proactively bringing new ideas and solutions to the team.

What You Will Need:




Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Experience: 6+ years of professional experience in digital design, preferably within a creative agency environment. A strong, diverse, and well-organized online portfolio demonstrating exceptional digital design skills, conceptual thinking, and a clear understanding of user experience. Shopper Experience: Proven experience designing for shopper journeys and e-commerce environments, understanding conversion funnels and retail brand challenges. 3D Design: Demonstrated experience or strong understanding of 3D design principles and workflow Figma Expert: Advanced proficiency in Figma for UI/UX design, prototyping, component library creation, and collaborative design. Comprehensive understanding of digital design principles, typography, color theory, layout, and responsive design across various devices and platforms. Conceptual Design Prowess: Exceptional conceptual design abilities, with a track record of transforming abstract ideas into compelling visual solutions. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly and persuasively. Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
