Summary
Established Organisation is looking to employ a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to be responsible for implementing security measures and embedding security processes within the business.
Description
- Leverage advanced security tools to strengthen the security landscape across network, infrastructure, application and cloud security.
- Develop and implement security hardening strategies
- Building and refining SIEM / SOC use cases and conduct thorough investigations and resolutions for escalated threat intelligence, security breaches, and unauthorized access.
- Assist in cyber security incident response
- Manage and co-ordinate security architecture reviews, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Compile cyber security reports
- Assist in delivery of strategic cyber security projects
Matric / Grade 12
Relevant Degree/Diploma coupled with certification in CISSP, OSCP, CISM, Linux
At least 5 years experience within a similar role
Understanding of scripting and/or coding; information security principles and a proactive stance in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
Experience in security analysis and risk management, showcasing strategic decision-making.
