Job Description
Our major Financial Services niche client, seeks a Cyber Security Specialist to ensure their defence and alerting capabilities are performing and implementing reactive measures.
- Tertiary qualification or related in computer science/ IT/Infrastucture
- 5 years min in a large internal or corporate IT company
- Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in IT Infrastructure or related field.
- Some or all of the following:CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA xe2x80x93 Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- Legislative and regulatory framework
- Experience/ Qualifications in risk processes and methodologies in IT related environments
- Change management processes and frameworks,
- Trend/root cause analyst from a vulnerability management perspective,
- Proficient with Microsoft Programs.
- Certified Ethical Hacker)
- Technical/operational security is preferred
- Exp in firewalling, intrusion prevention systems, proxies, gateways;network routing, switching
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, and Internet facing services
- Windows, Linux;
- Virtualisation (VMWare)
- Competent understanding of Penetration testing methodologies and techniques;
- Security Event and Incident analysis
- Unix scripting languages
