Job Description

Job Summary KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: o Manage and coordinate the conveyancing process, ensuring that all legal requirements are met within agreed timelines o Draft and prepare legal documents including agreements of sale, transfer documents, bond documentation for residential and commercial properties, and other conveyancing documents o Conduct title and property searches and liaise with relevant parties to resolve any title issues o Prepare and maintain accurate records of all conveyancing transactions o Liaise with clients, attorneys, and external stakeholders such as banks and deeds offices o Draft final accounts for transfers o Experience in Lexis Convey, E4 and Stordoc; Windeed o Assist in drafting of tender documents relating to property matters; o Experience in Absa commercial property, Absa Homeloans; ABSA CIB and Standard Bank commercial bond registrations. o Experience in drafting mortgage and notarial bonds; o Assist with drafting due diligence reports; o Ability to format large agreements. REQUIREMENTS: o A minimum of 10 years' experience as a Senior Conveyancing Secretary o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills o Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities o Proficient in MS Office and conveyancing software o Good knowledge of conveyancing legislation and procedures EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: o Matric certificate o Relevant conveyancing and legal qualifications
