Senior Commercial Trader

Our client is seeking a Senior Commercial Trader to join their team, based in Mobeni, Durban. Successful candidate will be responsible for managing the trading activities related to edible oil products, will play a vital role in executing trading strategies, securing supplier contracts, managing
inventory levels, and optimizing profitability. Minimum Requirements:- *BCom Accounting degree or similar *Proven experience in commodity trading, preferably within the edible oil or agricultural commodities industry *Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data and trends *Knowledge of risk management techniques and financial instruments used in commodity trading *Familiarity with trading platforms, order management systems, and market analysis tools *Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills *Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced trading environment *Proficiency in using spreadsheets and financial software for data analysis and reporting *Understanding of relevant regulations, trade laws, and compliance requirements in the commodity trading industry.
