Job Overview: As a Senior Business Development Executive, you are a critical part of the Company's team, ensuring profitable customer centricity is at the heart of everything the company does.
You will be part of the management team, with your direct and indirect leadership skills being vital in delivering the company vision of transforming service delivery in the automotive industry through people driven auto tech.
Your key focus is a leadership role within the company charged with understanding customer technology needs, through to the creation of product solutions, meeting these.
Fundamental to your skillset is the proven ability to create, manage and maintain successful partnerships moving forward with the variety of operations within the company's value chain. Central to these partnerships will be several OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) South African operations.
You will also be part of the company's Management Team.
The role is Johannesburg based, nationally focused with a global outlook, and provides leadership of the companys Johannesburg office.

Responsibilities: The duties/tasks of the function include but are not limited to:

  • A result driven senior leadership role fully satisfying its key stakeholders including customers, shareholders, directors, and employees.
  • Overall ownership of an identified set of partner relationships (namely, OEMs, 3rd parties amongst others) to fulfil the Companys vision, goals, and objectives;
  • Identifying and scoping scalable product opportunities, opening profitable new revenue streams and territories.
  • Communicating and energising new revenue opportunities and territories within the companys ecosystem.
  • Top end industry networking to track emerging trends and developments.
  • Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to grow business, together with the marketing co-ordinator.
  • Travelling within South Africa and to any other country as required to successfully fulfil the requirements of this role.
  • Working closely with the Managing- and Finance & Operations Director and other department heads to ensure clear consistent communication flow between Company and its Customers.
  • Leadership role in the Johannesburg office, together with a position on the management team.
Inherent Requirements of the Job:
  • > 5 years of demonstrably successful business development experience

  • Excellent understanding of the motor industry, preferably with experience
