Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst in the Insights & Business Advisory department, you will play a crucial role in driving customer-centric strategies and optimizing trade marketing and key account campaigns for the company's South African Portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Insights & Business Advisory, you will conduct detailed analyses of sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to provide comprehensive feedback on past campaigns, enhancing customer relations and future engagement strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed analyses of sales data, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Create comprehensive brand performance reports through robust quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Collaborate closely with sales and trade marketing teams to refine and measure campaign impact.
• Utilize tools like Excel and Tableau to design and deploy insightful BI reports, dashboards, and data stories.
• Develop and present feedback decks for brand sales reviews, focusing on Trade Marketing and Key Account activity effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the sales team to refine customer engagement strategies.
• Forge strong, trust-based relationships with brand partners and customers.
• Quarterly travel requirements for Customer sales reviews and participation in annual brand and customer planning.
• Master data management.

Skills & Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in FMCG, wine, spirits, or related sectors.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret sales and market trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau).
• Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems, and comfortable with database management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the latest market research practices and the consumer goods industry.

Technical Proficiency:

• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Competency in Tableau, with a readiness to grow these skills in a Developer capacity.
• Experience with CRM and BI tools.

Other Requirements:

• Reliable personal transportation for travel within the Western Cape and other domestic regions.
• Flexibility to attend after-hours industry events.
• Willingness to sign an NDA and interact confidently with C-suite-level executives.
• Office-based position with occasional travel for market research and retailer meetings.
