Senior Brand Manager

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage the total product category's performance in respect of growth in profitability, volume and market share for assigned products:
- Write brand plans and implement and manage the plan
- Analyse sales performance by SKU, country, channel
- Do P&L evaluation per SKU per country, per channel and adjust to improve total profitability
- Identify cost saving opportunities and act accordingly
- Plan and interpret the branch architecture/product diamond
- Design and maintain brand image (logo, graphic design, etc) and adapt according to outcome
- Manage and optimise brand/product life cycle
- Conduct market research
- Manage the maintenance of an effective Marketing Intelligence system
- Coordinate the update/upgrade of product packaging through R&D
- Identify/create product opportunities/concepts to satisfy consumer needs
- Present product concept definition, product proposal, preliminary business case and final business case
- Liaise with product development to develop and launch new product concepts
- Launch product to internal customers and follow up and manage trade launch Develop marketing support campaign
- Conduct post launch evaluation of changed products
- Manage and control marketing budgets and expenditure
- Evaluate quotes
- Check and approve invoices
- Monitor monthly expenditure against budget
- Analyse sales trends and act accordingly
- Identify and initiate sales issues/problem areas in conjunction with Sales, Key Accounts, etc.
BCom Marketing or similar
Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level in the FMCG sector
Experience in working with senior management
People management experience
Working knowledge of Social Media Platforms e.g. LinkedIn
Business English: Fluent
Computer literacy (Advanced)
Code 08 Driver's license
Travel off-site/overnight stay
