Hours: Core UK Operational Hours Role Overview:
We are on the hunt for a dedicated Applications Analyst Senior to support and enhance our client's business applications. This role involves assisting in the performance and service of all business applications, offering technical support, and aiding in the implementation of application developments using best practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of escalation for applications support service requests.
- Monitor application services and carry out daily checks.
- Support and train the business' application users.
- Produce technical reports and management information as required.
- Aid in the continual development and improvement of all business applications.
- Ensure effective incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Scientific/numerical background or experience in an IT environment.
- Experience with the Application life cycle (patches/config change/hotfix).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Nav or other ERP systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- ITIL Foundation (V2 or V3) certification.
- Basic understanding of SQL Server 2008 and some knowledge of T-SQL.
- Strong written and oral communication in English.
- Proven troubleshooting ability in a large-scale, fast-paced operations environment.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and mentor teammates.
