Job Description
Managed People Solutions is looking for a Senior Accountant for a Well-known Liquor Company based in Brackenfell, Cape Town.
Salary Range: R40k - R50k
Main responsibilities:
- Completion of Exception Reports
- Managing a team of Finance Stock Controllers
- General Accounting Tasks
- Specific Stock Related Tasks from Receipting in Stock to Valuations
- Managing Stock Insurance and queries from suppliers
- Reconciliation of Stock
- Any Ad-Hoc Responsibilities
- A Degree in Accounting or Management Accounting is Essential
- CIMA Qualification would be Advantageous
- 5+ years' Accounting Experience, specific experience in accounting for stock in a complex ERP System Environment (BC, SAP, Cispro, Oracle etc.)
- Experience in costing/accounting for stock imports and managing stock insurance would be advantageous
- BC experience would be Advantageous
- Excellent Reconciliation Skills and attention to detail
- Conflict Management Skills
