Job Description


An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Jungle for a Senior Account Manager to share their awesome. This is a role that will allow you to take ownership for your own brands, grow not only your digital skills, but also get involved in TTL projects.
As a member of a multi-disciplined team, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for the following;
Client relationships
Day to day management of multiple client relationships
Working with clients on new and existing briefs
Identifying opportunities to cross sell and up-sell services and drive revenue targets
Project management
Writing briefs and ensuring that these are delivered against
Daily overseeing and management of projects, both internally and externally, within budgets and timelines
Acting as a daily escalation point for resolving project issues
Managing job health on Magnetic
Improving work processes to drive efficiency
Financial management
Scoping projects and managing delivery against budgets and retainers
Overseeing the issuing of Cost Estimates, receipt of POs, delivery of work and invoicing and payment receipting as required
Driving business growth through diligent financial and forecast reporting
Attendance of WIP meetings and resolving issues that arise out of this
Reporting
Interpreting insight tools
Completion of all monthly and campaign reporting
Liaising and driving third-party agencies to ensure timeous submission of reporting to client
Ensuring necessary reports are complete, checked and approved before being sent to client
Strategy
Refine and contribute to strategies that address key marketing challenges and deliver value
Pursue innovative solutions and ideas for clients
Oversight and guidance on the delivery of any strategy under the guidance of the AD
Translating knowledge of digital/industry developments to drive client aspirations into strategies
Ultimate responsibility for the delivery of any strategy in collaboration with internal team and under supervision of AD and MD
Developing Digital/TTL plans, aligned with client strategy
REQUIREMENTS
Recognised qualification in marketing, media and communications
Min 4 years in an account management role and familiarity with all the internal client services processes
Comprehensive understanding of Digital and other media channels (incl ATL and BTL), with solid understanding of the strengths of different media
Understand digital technologies and their application, including search, websites, social media and mobile
In-depth Knowledge of marketing intelligence, budgeting and financial processes
Understanding and skill in the planning of integrated communications
