Training Schedule: Thursday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST | Saturday / Sunday off

About The Role

PartnerHero is looking for a Security Operations Analyst to work with the rest of the IT, Security, and Engineering teams to be the first responder on security incidents. The Security Operations Analyst focuses on monitoring and responding to problems and incidents occurring within PartnerHeroxe2x80x99s infrastructure and customer-facing applications.

Youxe2x80x99ll Be...

• Defining and implementing incident response procedures
• Configuring and operatating logging and observability platforms
• Completing detailed log analysis and compile technical reports
• Configuring alerting and forwarding rules
• Assessing incident severity and escalate to the next level as needed
• Collaborating with other team members to remediate incidents
• Setting clear expectations and provide timely follow-up as appropriate
• Collaborating with key stakeholders in incident documentation including postmortem reports
• Writing technical articles for internal knowledge base
• Participating in knowledge sharing with other team members and develop customer solutions efficiently

What You Bring To The Table

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience / knowledge of APM and observability platforms
• Experience / knowledge of SIEM and XDR solutions
• Experience / knowledge of version control tools and agile project management tools
• Experience / knowledge of cloud platform management, configuration, and event logging capabilities (GCP, AWS)
• Experience / knowledge of defensive security monitoring across internal infrastructure and customer-facing SaaS applications
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable with defining and implementing new processes
• Great interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain focus while performing focused work such as in-depth log analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can shift quickly and responsibilities are broad
• Exercise good judgment and maintain a positive and professional demeanor
• Great decision-making skills
