Job SummaryHire Resolve's client is currently looking for a Section Manager to join their mining team based in the Northern Cape. The Section Manager will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the mine, ensuring efficient and safe operations. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company and make a significant impact in the mining industry.Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the section, including production, safety, and maintenance
  • Develop and implement strategies and plans to optimize production and minimize costs
  • Ensure effective utilization of resources, including equipment, labor, and materials
  • Monitor and evaluate performance and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Lead and develop a team of supervisors and operators
  • Implement and maintain safety programs and initiatives
  • Coordinate with other sections and departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
  • Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency
  • Metalliferous Blasting Ticket
  • 5 years operational experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong knowledge of mining operations and regulations
