Sea Freight Export / Outbound Controller - Durban, IsipingoJob descriptionAre you an experienced Sea Freight Export Controller looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client, located along the iconic freight stretch, in Isipingo is urgently looking for a skilled and dedicated Sea Freight Export/ out bound Controller. If you possess relevant experience managing sea freight exports and you're looking for a dynamic, young vibrant environment, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:As a Sea Freight Export Controller, you will play a vital role in managing the end-to-end process of Sea freight Exports. Your responsibilities will include:Maintain and update sailing schedule.Manage and monitor bookings with shipping (include monitoring daily stack dates).Process bookings and send booking confirmation to customers.Follow up on Quotes to fill up under utilised containers.Strategic container planning to get the best utilization per container.Handling Hazardous applications / paperworkTransport and packing instructions to warehouse and transporter.Send empty depot releases to shipping line prior to container collection.Manage shipping instruction / bills of entry prior to packing / commercial invoices / packing lists and fumigation certificates.Process shipping linexe2x80x99s shipping instructionPrepare required trade documentsInvoice customersProcess creditor invoicesSubmit RCG to SARSPrint, stamp, and release bills for customer collectionProcess cargo duesProcess acquittals to shipping line.Cost, close filesTo excel in this role, you should possess:3-5 years of experience in Sea Freight Exports, demonstrating your skills in the field.Knowledge and experience in handling Dangerous Goods, Hazardous Shipments, or Pharma exports would be highly beneficial.Experience in other logistical fields and familiarity with various modes of transport will be considered an advantage.If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge and contribute to our company's growth and success, apply today!Job Type: Full-timeSalary: R12,000.00 - R17,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Certificate (Preferred)
