Job Description


Our client, a global pharmaceutical company in Midrand is urgently looking for an SDF and BBBEE Specialist to lead the company in BBBEE and BBBEE transformation strategy while ensuring compliance with relevant local BBBEE legislation. You as the successful candidate will oversee and update the BBBEE system, facilitate the exchange of best practice within the company, promote Learning & Development and Innovation aligned to the BBBEE Scorecard.

In order to be considered the following is required:

  • Qualification: NQF 7 qualification in Human Resources Management or similar with an OD-ETDP Qualification and a skills Development Facilitator Accreditation
  • Experience: 3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in learning and organizational development in a multinational company with experience in working in BBBEE and working with SETAxe2x80x99s
  • Extensive understanding of BBBEE is needed
Responsibilities:

B-BBEE - Manage Companyxe2x80x99s BBBEE verification process:
  • Contribute to the development, alignment and implementation of the Companyxe2x80x99s strategic transformation and BBBEE Plan
  • Manage the BBBEE scorecard across business activities and optimize opportunities for each pillar in collaboration with Finance, Procurement and P&C
  • Manage all annual submissions and related administration for the portfolio
  • Provide guidance and play an active advisory role to business on Employment Equity, Diversity, Enterprise development and preferential procurement
  • Manage and update the BBBEE system (BEESmart)
  • Design and Implementing BBBEE Transformation strategies related to Skills Development
  • Management of BBBEE Partners and Consultants (BEESA)
  • Conduct BBBEE audits in collaboration with the appointed Verification Agent, provide recommendations on findings and write reports
  • Provide inputs in formulation of policies, practices and processes that affect BBBEE within Company
  • Monitor and report BBBEE spending against targets set up for various departments and divisions, including ensuring the accuracy of such information
  • Advise on the sourcing and selection of strategic BBBEE suppliers for acquisition projects
  • Where applicable, provide BBBEE training to the Management/Employees and suppliers on the revised BBBEE Codes of Good Practice
  • Monitor the Employment Equity Plan
Onboarding new Talent:
  • Support best practice and an aligned on-boarding programme by designing, developing and reviewing the programme on an annual basis
  • Support the development and upskilling of the new employee by facilitating identification of development needs as per New Joinersxe2x80x99 training matrix, and monitor the development plan on a quarterly basis
  • Support new employees to get a good understanding of the whole business by coordinating the onboarding process across divisions and review the effectiveness thereof on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure Buddy Process is designed and aligned to the Double 3 Double 3
  • Ensure that Buddies are equipped and trained for their role as buddies
  • Responsible for Buddy nomination in collaboration with Business Line Managers
  • Responsible for monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement of the Buddy Training program
Skills Dvelopment Facilitator (SDF) - Development facilitation as a legislative function within P&C:
  • Responsible for identification of Business-Critical Capabilities on an annual basis aligned to BBBEE Scorecard
  • Identification and Management of local accredited Learning and Development Providers
  • Responsible for the Procurement Process of Service Providers who meet BBBEE Requirements together with Procurement
  • Support the culture of a Learning Organization through clarity on Departmental Learning Journeys and Learning Delivery Platforms (Roche Learning Platform)
  • Liaise with the Training Committee on agreed Learning Interventions as aligned to the Skills Plan
  • Take responsibility for the development of the WSP and the necessary consultation thereon
  • Liaise with the CHIETA around issues of skills development
  • Ensure submission of the WSP to the CHIETA
  • Keep appropriate training records for BBBEE Verification Process
  • Report on training conducted to the CHIETA
  • Ensure participation in CHIETA learnerships and skills programmes
  • Attend SDF forums
  • Conduct an analysis to determine training outcomes annually
  • Understand the Sector Skills Plan with focus on scares and critical skills planning
Leadership Development - Shape & Applied:
  • Branding and Marketing of Applied and Shape Leadership Programs within the organization in collaboration with Communication Department
  • Responsible for organizing of the onboarding process for Applied and Shape in consultation with Head of P&C
  • Responsible for the finalization of nominations for the Applied and Shape Leadership program in consultation with the Head of P&C
  • Responsible to for ensuring that all participants are properly mapped to coaches and working together with the service provider and consult with the Head of P&C prior to final confirmation of coach matching.
  • Responsible for ensuring that LCP briefing and introduction takes place and is booked with Global prior to assessment dates
  • Main Liaison between the candidates and LCP global teams to ensure that the LCP process runs smoothly and that every candidate has received their briefings
  • Responsible for making sure that all in person contact modules like the chocolate factory, that all arrangements are done via the admin office. This includes booking of venues, flights and hotel arrangements
  • Responsible for ensuring that updates from the service provider regarding different modules of the program are implemented on time and brought to the attention of LT
  • Responsible for providing feedback on the programs to the organization
Management of the Graduate and the Bursary Program:
  • Responsible for establishing, & being accountable for the Graduate recruitment programme
  • Designing a Graduate Recruitment programme for the organization in collaboration with the Business
  • Responsible for University, Technikon Career Fairs Marketing the Roche Brand to potential talent
  • Responsible for sourcing, management, monitoring and evaluation of Graduates Management Consultants/Service Provider
Learning Platform Administration:
  • Super User for the Learning Platform
  • Responsible for liaising with global teams regarding the learning platform
  • Responsible for the Training Matrix for the organization (SA, SADC, WA and EA)
  • Responsible for reporting on a quarterly basis for compliance reporting
  • Managing the Learning Platform Dashboard
