Job Summary Servant leader of agile software delivery teams with the focus on quality solutions which are defect free that present business value in achievement of the company goals and objectives. This Role includes the line management activities of finances, supplier / vendor management, operations, performance and team development. Participate in all relevant agile methodology rituals with the aim of improving the agile maturity and increasing delivery velocity Qualifications required: Certified scrum master / practitioner (CSM/CSP), Software delivery/ management experience Bachelor Degree in IT , Certified scrum master / practitioner (CSM/CSP) 5 yearsxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2 plus experience in System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including experience in managing cross functional component and feature teams using agile methods and DEVOPS Experience required: Experience in six sigma (green belt) or similar and are able to leverage of process engineering to influence and introduce efficiencies Proven experience in finding solutions to loosely defined business problems by leveraging automation, pattern detection over potentially large datasets. Experience in leading delivery teams focused on continuous integration, delivery and test driven development Responsibilities: Business and Financial Results Management Provide input into departmental/divisional budget to ensure appropriate resource allocation in achievement of departmental goals Manage allocated budget and procurement through effective monitoring and reporting Facilitate results delivery on time and within budget, using agile software delivery methods whilst adhering to sound IT governance practices and control procedures Provide strategic thinking and contributions to crafting of departmental business plan based on professional knowledge and experience, to ensure delivery of focus areas for the year in support of IT and business strategies Deliver required business features as defined by business stakeholders and prioritised by product owner Construct system solutions as defined by the company architecture competency areas and technology roadmaps Identify possible risk and delivery impact to value realisation, project timing and resourcing from a system, people, process and financial point of view to inform planning, expectation setting and mitigation Estimate effort and time frames for delivery of prioritised backlog across initiatives and production to inform value assessments, business cases and sprint / project / release planning Ensure delivery of solutions in line with set timelines, cost and quality by constantly refining priorities and remaining focused on the minimal viable product and maintaining team velocity and value delivery Provide input into requests for information / proposals by providing the requirements and participating in the various activities to facilitate selection of solutions Ensure that software license management (purchased / maintained / optimised) to comply with licensing terms and agreements and prevent any possible prejudice to company Stakeholder Relationship Management Build open and trusting relationships with product owners, stakeholder and executive product sponsors Build relationships with colleagues, peers and team members by using appropriate interpersonal styles of openness, collaboration, trust and respect, which provides a sense of confidence - live the company values Ensure traceability of clientsxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2 needs through the development life cycle in accordance with company standard Support business and product owners in cross business and IT unit alignment, dependencies and prioritisation discussions Maintain and present up to date roadmaps of application-oriented projects to evolve the application portfolio to meet the needs of the business and its strategy Build and maintain sound and strategic relationships with key suppliers in support of the business unit Process Management Advocate the teams needs and facilitate process to ensure team has the required resources to deliver effectively and efficiently in order to meet/exceed the agreed upon delivery and production SLAxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2s Manage team delivery against prioritised backlog and timelines, identify obstacles to delivery and take appropriate action where required Ensure all team members understood and supported company vision and divisional strategy Take accountability for making others successful by removing obstacles to team performance and success Perform recruitment processes to ensure selection contributing to success of team Ensure on boarding process is followed for all new hires and transfers to embed the company values and cultures Ensure self and team members has required skill and professional/ technical expertise by assessing gaps and development areas and creating development plans Ensure each team member has a job profile that profiles team member with a view of full performance in the job Create performance agreement for each team member with measurable goals and objectives so that they understand how their performance will be viewed, recognised and rewarded Conduct performance review sessions with team members to review performance and progress against targets and agree on appropriate action required to meet targets or standards Engaged with team in such a way that the feel motivated to achieve better performance feel respects and diversity valued Epitomise living the company values and keep team accountable for displaying the values in their behaviour Builds employee trust and engagement by being honest and consistent, keeping commitments, exchanging ideas openly, and providing support to the team as and when needed Improve team efficiency and effectiveness by ensuring on the job training (cross training), coaching team members and improving/increasing automation of systems to eliminate duplication of tasks and errors from occurring Achieve business outcomes through driving performance of the team through appropriate company performance management, including appropriate learning and development practices Drive and support the development of cross functional feature and component teams Prevent and or mitigate key person situations
