Key responsibilities:
Defining Project Scope:
Clearly outlining the project's objectives, deliverables, and boundaries.
Creating Project Plans
: Developing comprehensive plans that include timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets.
Identifying Risks:
Proactively identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Establishing Communication Plans:
Ensuring clear communication channels and reporting structures.
Leading and Motivating Teams:
Providing direction, guidance, and support to the project team.
Managing Resources:
Allocating and managing resources (human, financial, material) effectively.
Monitoring Progress:
Tracking project progress against the plan, identifying deviations, and taking corrective actions.
Managing Changes:
Handling changes to scope, schedule, or budget, ensuring they are properly documented and approved.
Ensuring Quality:
Ensuring all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
Regular Reporting:
Providing regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
Managing Expectations
: Effectively managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring their needs are met.
Facilitating Communication:
Maintaining open and transparent communication channels within the project team and with stakeholders.
Project Completion
: Ensuring all project deliverables are completed and accepted.
Evaluation and Lessons Learned:
Conducting a thorough project evaluation and documenting lessons learned for future projects.
Minimum Technical Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3-year post matric tertiary qualification (Degree/Diploma)
Project Management qualification - SAP Activate Project Manager certification.
Post-graduate, PMP and/or Agile certification would be an added advantage.
5+ years of post-qualification experience in Project Management in SAP projects
Deep understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.), SAP architecture, project methodologies, and best practices and how they integrate within an organization.
Experience facilitating workshops with technical and non-technical resources to document functional and nonfunctional solution requirements.
