Key responsibilities:
Compiling schedules, project milestones, resource planning, budget and risk management plan.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis.
Gather and document detailed business and technical requirements.
Analyse and optimise workflows for the new system.
Develop use cases, system specifications, and testing frameworks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to validate system functionality and alignment.
Compile stakeholder communication strategies, frequencies and applicable channels.
Responsible for identifying project risks, mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Establish clear and measurable criteria for evaluating technical solutions, such as performance, scalability, security, and compliance.
Develop a scoring system to assess how well each solution meets the criteria.
Document the evaluation criteria and scoring system for transparency and consistency.
Conduct assessments using the predefined criteria, including technical reviews, and demonstrations.
Score each solution based on the established criteria and scoring system.
Analyse the results to identify strengths, weaknesses, and risks associated with each solution.
Prepare a detailed report summarising the findings and recommendations
Responsible for facilitating strategies for system testing, and validations:
Execution of the implementation plan, coordinating with project teams and stakeholders.
Monitor progress and address any issues or deviations from the plan.
UAT to ensure the solution meets business requirements and user expectations.
This includes preparing test cases, executing tests, and documenting results.
Identify and document the core capabilities of the organisation.
Assess the current state of each capability, including strengths, weaknesses, and gaps.
Prioritise capabilities based on their strategic importance and impact on business goals.
Continuously monitor and review the progress of capability development initiatives.
Responsible for regular updates on project progress, issues, risks and metrics.
Responsible for compilation of procedures for handling scope, schedule and cost changes of the projects.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree or higher
in IT, Computer Sciences, Engineering or related.
Project Management Professional Certification is mandatory.
Must have experience as a Senior IT/Technical Project Manager in software development environment of
more than 10 years.
Be proficient with latest project management tools such as Microsoft Project Management Software.
Have an ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives and be able to coordinate both internal teams and external vendors.
Be knowledgeable with Distributions Outage Management Applications (Workforce Management) knowledge will be advantageous.
