To provide fixed Income Sales coverage to both local and offshore Institutional clients, based in Johannesburg.
Job Responsibilities
- As a team member, you will be responsible for engaging daily with our local and offshore Institutional client base, working alongside our Principal Market makers and fellow team members, executing order flow and delivering a high quality, professional multi-asset service to such clients.
- Ensure thorough understanding of each client needs, meet those needs and build on relationships with new clients.
- Produce and deliver value-added content to our clients.
- Work closely with the Nedbank Research team, acting as a conduit between Research and our clients.
- Arrange client roadshows, engaging with clients.
- Minimize risk by ensuring all clients receive correct contract notes and timely reporting.
- Contribute to a culture of transformation by participating in Nedbank culture building initiatives, business strategy, and CSI.
- Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate.
- Contribute to making the department a great place to work.
- Develop trusting internal relationships by addressing challenges effectively.
- Ensure all clients comply with Nedbank internal, JSE and other regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to internal and external risk guidelines and regulatory/compliance/governance requirements.
- Provide quality, timely and value-adding reports on market activities.
- Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values.
- Identify and attend training courses and career progression for self.
- Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe.
- Share knowledge and industry trends with team during formal and informal interaction
