Channel Sales 6 Months Contract

Germiston, Gauteng, South Africa

The incumbent is responsible for promoting the sales and interest of the company in the sales region Gauteng by means of the following:

Selling (vigorously promoting the sealed air corporation chemicals. equipment and services relating to cash and carry, wholesalers and distributor outlets.
Identifying projects and opportunities (uncover needs at customers and new markets)
Positioning our products to meet the needs.
Quotations (profitable -right-fit pricing)
Customer visits, maintaining on-going relationships with customers, customer and customer services liaison (harmony and best service)
Ensuring adequate stock control, stock availability, including control of slow-moving stock debtor management.
Provide accurate material and market forecasting (Please note that some of the products lines/regions are national and not necessarily limited to Gauteng.

Tertiary Qualification with a Chemistry background

Preferably a minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales within a Channel Sector (NB Have an understanding of Hygiene and cleaning practices, equipment and products)
Current Drivers License
IMM/Other Marketing Diploma and Sales Diploma
Technical knowledge of chemical dispensing systems
Exposure to Cash & Carry; Wholesalers and Distributor environment
