Job Summary Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Researcher to support our business development team by identifying new sales opportunities, uncovering potential leads, and researching upcoming projects.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in online research, data mining, and CRM tools to build qualified prospect lists and keep the sales pipeline full and healthy.
Key Responsibilities:

• Research potential business opportunities, tenders, and development projects within targeted industries and markets.

• Identify and qualify leads through various platforms such as LinkedIn, project databases, business directories, and other online tools.

• Build and maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of prospective clients.

• Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand target customer profiles and market segments.

• Monitor and report on industry trends, competitor activity, and potential partnerships.

• Ensure all leads are recorded in CRM systems and categorised effectively for follow-up.

• Use email, social media, and outbound methods to initiate contact with qualified leads (if applicable).

Requirements:

• 2 - 4 years' experience in lead generation and market research.

• Proficient with online research techniques and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google, industry-specific databases, etc.

• Experience using CRM platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bonus: Familiarity with sales prospecting tools like Apollo.io, Hunter.io, Lusha, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in B2B industries within the commercial sector.

• Familiarity with tender portals and procurement sites (e.g., Leads2Business, CIDB, or equivalent).
