Our client, a leading retailer in their field, is looking for your sales expertise to join their young, dynamic, and passionate sales team.
This role calls on clients within the architectural and construction sectors, focusing to generate new business through sales and specification.
REQUIREMENTS

• Matric, or relevant qualifications
• Minimum 3 years' sales experience in the home finishing, construction, or retail industry
• A proven and consistent sales track record is essential
• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
• Naturally technically minded, with the ability to read and measure plans and navigate a building site confidently
• Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Valid driver's license

DUTIES

• Meet and assist customers by handling enquiries in person, telephonically, and via email
• Assess customer needs and provide informed product or service recommendations
• Actively engage with clients to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Interpret plans or conduct site visits to obtain accurate measurements for sales purposes
• Negotiate terms and successfully conclude sales agreements
• Manage and process customer orders from placement through completion
• Handle and oversee the invoicing process accurately and efficiently
• Work towards and consistently achieve monthly performance targets
• Assist with stock management and stocktaking as required
• Provide support across different areas of the business to build skills and contribute to overall growth
• Carry out general administrative duties as required
